In a recent conversation, Trey Foster, Head of Technology, and Brianne Nunnelley, Software Engineer, pulled back the curtain on what powers the tools and technology that make TVI a standout in the fixed operations marketing space.

Brianne puts it simply: “We work to make all the fun apps and tools our sales team uses to sell our products.” But as the conversation unfolds, it’s clear that the work is about far more than apps. It’s about building solutions that streamline workflows, increase accuracy, and ultimately, help dealers thrive.

Trey Foster, who joined TVI in 2019 as a software engineer, now leads the tech team with a vision that blends practical know-how and a deep understanding of dealers’ needs. “My role is basically to ensure that technology is a success, the way we process and analyze data for our clients.” Trey explains, “… as well as help develop our technology personnel.”

Data-Driven, Dealer-Focused

Dealerships run on data, and TVI’s tech team treats that data with care. From reporting suites to contact databases, every tool is built to save time and increase efficiency.

“ I worked… this year, primarily, with onboarding,” says Brianne, “making sure we have good data from the dealers, as far as their contacts are concerned.” Brianne explains that when TVI’s team knows who to talk to about billing, marketing, or digital efforts, they save time and make life easier for everyone. That efficiency ripples outward, allowing the team to respond faster and serve dealers more effectively.

Trey adds, “The data we collect—from clients, from business partners, from integrations— [it] drives the reliability in the service department, how often we’re contacting customers, how often customers are contacting us, which in turn drives RO success in the fixed ops department of the dealership.”

At the core of TVI’s success is a team culture rooted in trust, accountability, and genuine care. “A lot of companies say [they] have a family culture,” Trey says, “but at TVI, that’s not just word sauce. That’s reality.” Trey further explains that whether it’s fixing a bug or responding to a dealer concern, the team can “just hop in a room and hash it out.”

And that’s not limited to the tech team. “Everyone is really good at what they’re good at,” Brianne says. “When I ask someone a question, that’s the right person and they’re gonna do their best.”

This tight-knit collaboration leads to lightning-fast response times—something that often surprises new clients. This is reflected in dealer reactions of “‘Wait, you fixed that already?’” Trey laughs. “ It’s just such a staggering difference from what they’re used to in the industry.”

Accountability with Heart

The culture of care doesn’t stop with speed. It extends into ownership and empathy. The entire team takes accountability seriously. Brianne says that if someone makes a mistake, they own it, fix it, and move on. That level of responsibility builds trust and keeps things moving.

More importantly, the entire TVI team genuinely cares. The agents and support staff know dealers by name. They build real relationships. Brianne adds,  “If [our dealers] knew how much [we] cared about them behind the scenes and how hard [we] were working to solve their problems, they would be very happy.”
